That dress is adorable, Nann! Very creative. I always think it's amazing when people can create their own outfits based on a picture.

That was a nice pitcture you used. You must have the Mandie books in hardback. I've only ever seen them in paperback.

My dd is almost ready to start that series. She's already read the Mandie Mysteries for younger girls.

Mandie books never came in hardback, I just got really close to the paperback with my digital camera.

I love this board, and all you guys! I read ssooo many of the Mandie books when I was younger (I think I started about age 7, for those of you looking for an age range) - I'm 23 and still read through them time to time. I actually got to meet the author and have her sign one of my Mandie books - she was very sweet, and I was so excited!

Another series I would recomend is the "Grandma's Attic" series. It's set up as a book with many short stories about a girl's grandma, Mabel, when she was a girl, and Mabel's best friend Sarah Jane. The stories are funny and sweet - I laughed a lot reading them as a little girl.

Oh, and I can speak first hand about the quality of Nann's work. I ordered a darling red and white stripe dress from her, and it is simply adorable - and definitely professional quality!

Do any of you have a particular Mandie book that's your favorite?

I forgot all about Grandma's Attic. I loved that series as well. I still have it. I'll have to pull those out and look at the covers.

Thanks for your nice comment on my work. That red and white dress was one of my favorite pieces. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.
